The witnesses on Maxime's baptismal record were Antoine Valois and Agathe Valaing. The Maxime Martin family family was living at St. Charles-sur-Richelieu at the time of the 1861 Canadian census. Maxime was described in the census report as a "journeyman" (day worker). In the 1875 Rhode Island census, Maxime's name is given as Michael (age 45), and the family was living in Coventry. Also listed are Louisa B. (age 44), Michael (son, age 22), Aulet (age 21), Mary (age 14), Joseph (age 15), Ida (age 11), and Louisa (age 7), all born in Canada. The census of 1900 reports that Maxime and Louise Martin emigrated in 1868. The 1920 census record of Maxime's children, Marguerite Ashey and Maxime Martin, indicates that they emigrated in 1869. Maxime and Louise Martin's son, Alexander, was naturalized on 28 December 1891, at which time he stated that he arrived in the United States on 3 May 1869. In addition to the listed children, there may have been another daughter, Mary (1869-1880). Martin, Maxime (I1742)

The witnesses on the marriage record of Michael and Bridget were Patrick Kelly (probably the same Patt Kielly who was a witness to the marriage of Bridget's sister, Catherine) and Mary Mullins. There was a Michael Malley, aged 37, living at 103 South Street, Perth Middle Church, Perth, Scotland, at the time of the 1881 census. He lived near Anthony Nolan, the brother of Catherine Nolan Nolan. This Michael Malley could have been the son of Michael Malley and Bridget Nolan. Malley, Michael (I6610)

There appear to be two marriage records for Lewis Lewis and Mary Evans, one in Henfynyw Parish in 1830, the other in Llanfihangel Ystrad Parish in 1822, both in Cardiagnshire, Wales. Comparing the two marriage records, the signature of Lewis Lewis appears to be written by the same person in both records, and one of the witnesses, David Rees, is common to both records. There is no evidence that proves this Lewis Lewis is indeed the Lewis Lewis who died in Gallia County, Ohio, and is buried at Tyn Rhos Cemetery. Lewis, Lewis (I27446)

There are many men named Peter in the various records concerning the Romine family, which has contributed to a certain amount of uncertainty about which records pertain to which Peter. Therefore, it is possible that not all of the information on this page actually refers to the same person. However, there definitely was a Peter Romine in the Muskingum County, Ohio, 1820 census, and he is most likely the same Peter who was put into the care of Samuel Baldwin in late 1821. The ages of the people in the households of the Peter Romine in the 1810 Loudoun County, Virginia, census and the Peter Romine in the 1820 Muskingum County, Ohio, census, provide strong evidence that the two records refer to the same Peter Romine, but this is still not proof. If they are the same person, then most of the information on this page does interconnect. This document details the circumstantial evidence that the two Peter Romines were the same person and the father of Hannah Baldwin, wife of Samuel Baldwin. Romine, Peter (I28364)

There is a child, Harry, buried in Dresden Cemetery, Navarro County, Texas parents are shown as R L and N J Stewart. Stewart, Robert Lee (I21868)

There is a Cordelia Plante (1898-1987) buried with Phillipe and Alexandrina at St-Charles-sur-Richelieu church, Québec. This may be either their daughter or Phillipe's sister. Plante, Philippe (I18452)

There is a Julia Rivard listed in the 1880 census of Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, who may be this Julie Martin Rivard. A widow, her age is 51, and living with her were the following people, all born in Canada: Georgina Rivard, age 23; Joseph Rivard, age 21; Emilie Rivard, age 19; Mary Rivard, age 18; Elvina Rivard, age 17, and; Delia Rivard, age 16. Martin, Julie (I19782)

There is a Lydia Baldwin listed in the records of Salt Creek Baptist Church, Muskingum County, Ohio, as having been baptized on 3 July 1813. In 1846, David and Lydia Thomas brought suit against the other heirs of her father, Samuel Baldwin, demanding partition of the estate. They sold their share to Lydia's brother, James Baldwin, in 1847. In the 1860 census of Perry Township, Muskingum County, Ohio, the four children are shown living together, but their parents are not listed. Family: David Thomas / Lydia Baldwin (F5713)

There is a marriage recorded in Shrule Roman Catholic Parish, County Mayo, Ireland, for Thomas Nolan and Sarah Nolan on 4 May 1833. The witnesses were Patrick Nolan and Bridget Walsh. This may be the marriage of Thomas Nolan and Sarah Conry. Nolan, Thomas (I28308)

There is a monument for Robert Clifton Campbell at two different cemeteries in Shelby County, Alabama - Summer Hill Baptist Church and Bristow Cemeteries. The monument at Summer Hill Cemetery identifies him as the son of R.H. and Sirenia Campbell. Campbell, Robert Clifton (I16708)

There is a proclamation of banns recorded for a James Duff and Janet McNaughton in Logierait parish, Perthshire, on 9 February 1833. There is also a proclamation of banns and marriage record from 11 February 1833 for the same couple in Auchtergaven, Perthshire. Duff, James (I17871)

There is a record of a marriage license being issued in Fountain County, Indiana, on 11 November 1843, so the marriage date given here may be incorrect. Family: William A. Baldwin / Clarissa Cook (F9051)

There is also a marriage record for Alexander Will and Helen Porter on 7 July 1783, in Kilspindie, Perthshire. In that record, Alexander's residence was given as Kilspindie, and Helen Porter's as Collace. Alexander was a blacksmith in the village of Pitrodie. Will, Alexander (I5714)
