Notes

Sir John Rogerson was admitted to Caius College, on 22 October 1690, aged 14. He received his B.A. from Dublin University in 1694, and was admitted to the bar at the Middle Temple on 2 June 1690. He was Attorney-General for Ireland (1720-1727), Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench, Ireland (1727-1741), M.P. for Granard (1713-1714), M.P. for the City of Dublin (1715-1727), and Privy Councillor for Ireland (1727).
